The Lord of the Rings CHRONOLOGY The events in the Third Age of Middle-Earth that contributed to or were a direct part of the War of the Ring. This Chronology is a work in progress. Otherwise, hold tight, I'm working as fast as I can. Years are given in Third Age reckoning, but specific dates are given in Shire reckoning.
